About Morning Mist Studio’s Exhibit and Sale

Creativity abounds among the many talented people that will be showcased this

weekend.  Combine the artistic endeavors of the Painter and the creative

concoctions of Fine Craftsman, throw in some tasty refreshments while wondering

from venue to venue and we hope you will come away inspired with the wonder of the

creative mind.

Peggy Jo's Studio, Home and Garden, for the seventh time, will be transformed into

a Gallery Setting, filled to the brim with the works of 16 artists.   We will be serving

our ‘famous’ Lavender Lemonade along with other homemade goodies and encourage

you to come and enjoy the diverse collections that will be on display.

Our “Artists in Action” this year will be Zef Rose, Lois Guthrie and Susan La Madrid.

Check their work in Participating Artists Page.

Local artist Zef Rose will be putting on a demonstration of her concrete casting of

sculpture in sand. It’s a treat to watch Zef work. Plus, the process is fascinating.

The resulting works are festively whimsical – if you can imagine!  Her demonstration

will be at 12 noon Saturday, Sunday & Monday.  This piece will truly be fabulous and

she will be raffling the finished piece off Sunday afternoon.  All the proceeds will go

to our local food bank

Susan La Madrid, local artist and photographer will be demonstrating Saturday

morning.   Visit with Susan while she paints, she will share her knowledge of

photography and painting.

Lois Guthrie demonstrates Saturday afternoon .  She does lovely landscapes,

fabulous drawings of people and the wonderfully whimsical “Little Old Lady” series.

You never know what she will be doing, “all depends on the mood one wakes up with”

but it surely will be fun to watch.
