Jim Urick’s approach to art is pretty simple. He just does it…every day. Growing up in the Highwood Mountains of
Montana gave him ample inspiration for his writing, painting and sculpture. It was while fixing fence on the plains
or cutting fire wood in the mountains that he developed his fascination with wildlife. His art education is not
formal but constant and deeply imbedded. He sees no reason to think that he’ll ever stop.
