Ardith grew up in the rural community of Alderwood Manor north of Seattle.  Most of her time prior to adulthood was spent

on the back of a horse and has been influenced all of her life by the beautiful creatures.

Graduated from Edmonds High School, Everett Community College and attended the University of Washington.  As an art major

she was privileged to study under Russell Day and Ruth Pennington.

She has worked at Boeing as a draftsmen and coordinator; designed and created black coral jewelry in Lahaina for Maui

Divers of Hawaii; stamped saddles in Prescott, Arizona for Arizona Saddlery; delved into bead work, jewelry, carved wood

with enthusiasm and 10 years ago fell in love with clay and have been exploring and refining the medium ever since.
